What we collect, and why.
The short version: we collect what you send us and basic visit statistics, we use them to reply to you and improve the site, and we don't sell any of it.
Who we are
YotSignal is built and operated by Rivet Mill LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers www.yotsignal.com. Questions about it go to info@yotsignal.com.
What we collect
When you request early access. The form asks for your name, email and message, and optionally your company and phone number, what kind of business you are, and whether you want early access. That's all it collects.
When you visit. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they come from. It sets cookies in your browser and collects things like the pages you view, your browser and device type, the site that referred you, and your approximate location, worked out from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 doesn't store IP addresses. Our hosting provider, Vercel, also measures how fast pages load (without cookies) and keeps standard server logs.
How we use it
We use what you send through the form to reply to you about YotSignal, and nothing else. It isn't added to a mailing list, and we don't send marketing email unless you ask us to.
We use analytics to understand which parts of the site are useful and to keep it fast. We don't use it to advertise to you.
Who else handles it
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. A few services handle it on our behalf: Resend, which delivers the form to our inbox; Google, which provides Google Analytics and our email; and Vercel, which hosts the site. Each handles it under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Early access requests stay in our inbox for as long as we're in conversation with you, and we delete them when you ask. Google Analytics keeps visit data for 14 months, after which it's deleted automatically.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to info@yotsignal.com. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics everywhere with Google's opt-out add-on. The site works the same without them.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights over your information. We'll honor them when you contact us.
Children
YotSignal is for the marine trade. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
